Your Lawton Fire Dept. Members would like the community to be advised that the Lawton Firefighters Association Inc. (501c3 non-profit) voted to establish an Annual Lawton-Bronson High School Scholarship in Memory of Firefighter Jon Johndreau. The memorial funds received in Jon’s name will be kept in a separate account and annual scholarships will be given to student firefighters who are continuing their education. Our plan is to make the “LFD Firefighter Jon Jondreau Scholarship Award” viable to last for decades in Jon’s memory to honor all his years of Service to the Lawton Community. Donations can be sent to 104 W. Maple Street in his memory. Any donations please include a memo of "Johndreau Scholarship" or "JJ Scholarship." We have been overwhelmed with the support shown to the department by the area community’s and want everyone to know that such support is greatly appreciated by the department members.
